Space Hellas, SingularLogic and the Municipality of Piraeus won one very important award at this year’s Impact BITE Awards, in the category “Projects & E-Government Initiatives” subcategory “Municipalities / Regions / Smart Cities”
The tenth anniversary ceremony of the Impact BITE Awards 2021 took place on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Markou Wine Museum, under the auspices of Greek IT & Communications Business Association (SEPE) and with the honorary support of the ELTRUN laboratory of Athens University of Economics and Business.
Specifically at the Impact BITE Awards 2021, one of the most important institution for rewarding technological innovation in Greece, the Municipality of Piraeus with Space Hellas & SingularLogic were awarded with the “Silver” award for the initiative “CURiM – Collaborative Urban Risk Management” platform for the BeSecure-FeelSecure (BSFS) project.
The digital platform “CURiM” is developed in the framework of the European project BeSecure-FeelSecure (BSFS) that takes place in the Municipality of Piraeus and aims to strengthen urban security. It allows the collection and evaluation of threats both physically and digitally. Local security stakeholders in the city will be able to use the information generated to make decisions to prevent crime and delinquency.
This award is a recognition of the BSFS project partners efforts for the systematic and modern management of technology towards improving urban security in the city of Piraeus.
The award was received by the Deputy Mayor of Planning and Development Mr. Dimitris Karydis on behalf of the Municipality of Piraeus, by Mr. Dimitris Parisis on behalf of SingularLogic and by Mr. Socratis Kostikoglou on behalf of Space Hellas.
